The Choices We Make
Every man has got a calling,
Deep inside his heart.
Dreams lie deep with devils,
And angels playing harp.
I've countless seen the splendid
Driven down into the dark,
But a fiery passion's spark
Will reignite their flame,
And on from that day forward,
Life will never be the same.
I could claim it would be easy,
But a liar I am not,
Your convictions must be strong,
Or all will be for naught.
Yet, whether beggar, or dear prince,
Your body's bound to rot,
So take advantage of your days
Lest your spirit be forgot.
