Where I am blessed to live,

In my suburban home down south.

I am from delicious food,

From boiling spaghetti, meatballs,

Cheeseburgers, and New York Pizza.

Delicious food is where I’m from.

I am from collecting.

From collecting old video games,

And collecting even older coins.

All of the random things,

From a time before me.

Collecting is where I’m from.

I am from gaming.

From summer after summer.

Whether on my Mac,

Or sitting in front of my TV.

All day long, if I can.

With only a bag of Doritos at my side,

Or maybe a big bottle of Mountain Dew.

I am from movies.

All night long, until I’m tired.

Star Wars, Harry Potter,

Lord of the Rings, Alfred Hitchcock Movies.

Eating popcorn and watching comedies,

Laughing and trembling with fear,

Movies are where I’m from.
