Love
A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person
Society’s definition given to you above
But for me it’s more of a complex definition
It’s a feeling that words cannot completely describe
The feeling is quite prodigious
For me it’s when I see that sparkle in your eye
But for everyone it’s different so the definition is ambiguous
I know it’s sincere when you pull me close
When I hear your heart beating to the rhythm of my soul
Your body has become my drug and I think I’m going to overdose
I know if I’m ever too sad I’ll be the one for you to console
You’ve become my everything, you’ve become my world
I want to still dance with you in the moonlight when we’re grey and old
It’s the feeling I get when we’re hugging and suddenly I’m being twirled
I just want you to be mine forever to hold
So for some the definition is short and others it’s long
But the definition is decided between two
And I know my definition can’t possibly be wrong
When it comes to defining the word love, for me, it’s you
