You've just been told
You’ve just been told…
you’ve won the mega millions lottery of 206 million dollars!!!
there’s nothing you can’t buy;
overjoyed at the fact
you finally were able to get the money
to pay for your wifes open heart surgery
adrenaline coursing through your veins
you just decide to splurge on a visit to see your wife
to tell her the good news
As you travel from a shop to shop
pondering what to get her you see
a beautiful necklace
that would look perfect on your wife
buying it with a bouquet of flowers to hide it in
Once you get to the floor your wife is on
you see a doctor running
a nurse whaling hurry doctor were loosing her!!
instantly your mind goes into a panic
Sprinting with the flowers and gift in hand
you open the door
You see her face struggling to smile
kneeling right next to her telling her the good news
As you try to reassure her that everythings going to be alright.
Taking out the necklace her breaths start to diminish
Her face getting paler by the second
Looking at the gift, her last precious gift
you
as she tries to smile
Tears run down her cheek and all she’s able to say is
“I love it”.
