Disposable
You saw me as an experience and nothing more.
Something to explore.
Once you conquered all of my secrets, you move on to place your flag on another uncharted land.
Cutting down every emotion like they were trees before you,
deforesting hearts like they deforest a rainforest.
You saw me as an item, shiny and new.
The temptation to take me out of my safe display case eben though it read "Fragile, do not touch".
When I slipped from your fingers and shattered on the floor,
you did not weep,
You simply stepped over me, leaving the shiny shards of something that was,
broken and scuffed.
