Acceptance
There are cages everywhere.
Some are gilded,
others are rusted.
These keep us from succeeding,
unless we break free.
There are molds we have to fit.
Beliefs we must hold.
Ways we have to act.
Appearance we must maintain.
Clothes we have to wear.
If we are different,
then we will be shunned.
We must change ourselves
to be accepted.
Unless we break free.
Acceptance
comes from within,
not from others.
Once we can accept,
we can break free.
