Don't use suicide as a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Bright little girl with blades in your hand
How can I make you understand?
Bright little girl with scars on your wrists
What has made you as sad as this?
Bright little girl crying at night
How can I help to make it alright?
Bright little girl hiding your scars
Why haven't you noticed you shine like the stars?
Bright little girl with love in your heart
Why didn't I listen to you from the start?
Bright little girl with tears on your face
Why are you wanting to leave this place
Bright little girl tying a rope
How did you finally lose all your hope?
Bright little girl up on a chair
Why to you has the world been unfair?
Bright little girl starting to fall
Why didn't they realize you cared most of all?
Bright little girl stopped in your tracks
You went to the point you wont ever come back.
Bright little girl light gone from your eyes
Why did you believe the hate and the lies?
Bright little girl eyes blank with a stare
Wish I could've stopped you,
Signed,
The Empty Chair

One of my best friends were cutting and I was afraid she would take her own life. So I wrote this poem for her.
