What He Had Told Her

The hurricane neared but she felt no fear.
She did not shed even a single tear.
She sat on the beach, watching each wave crash.
The ocean thrashed, but so did her soul, when she opened her bible and heard The Lord say,
"I tell you my child, do not be afraid."
She knew there was no reason to cry today.
She thanked him for what he had told her.
Oh, how she thanked him for what he had told her.
