We pass it down
This is my family,
What we are
I do it to keep tradition.
My mother says they deserve it.
My father says you’re doing what’s right.
Is it that black and white?
I do it to keep tradition.
It’s the 21st century
What I pass down is delicate,
Will it survive?
I ask myself is this what I want?
