What it is love?
Do any of us really know?
Some say it’s just a feeling
Some say it’s just an emotion
Some just don’t care
Everyone takes love and turns it into just words
Words with little meaning
But what is love really?
I don’t think any of us really know
We can guess
We can try to define it
but no matter what it still baffles us
What is love?!
Love to me isn't just a feeling
It’s not just an emotion
It’s a sense
A sense of happiness
When you see that someone
That inexplicable joy
when they enter a room
It’s wanting to be closer
to someone who’s only
a foot away because
that one foot distance
is just too far
Love is unexplainable
We can try to describe it
all we want but we’ll
never find the right words
Love is something we don’t really understand
But it’s in our nature to try to
We get frustrated
We get confused
so we just keep asking the
same question, waiting and
hoping for the answer
that may never come,
What is love?
