Feeling Numb
An empty void-like feeling,
you fake the laughter,
force the smiles,
so no one can tell the difference,
your soul is begging them to see,
you’re not what you used to be,
your eyes lost the twinkle,
that used to be there,
happy thoughts turned depressing,
its just not fair.
You dont know why you’re like this,
you dont know where you went wrong,
no emotions or feelings,
starting to question if your life has meaning.
You've decided to see if anyone would miss you,
so you do the only thing you know how to do,
you write the letter,
say goodbye,
you drag the blade across your wrist,
finally numb to everything
