Dear woman who teaches art,

I’m sorry I splattered paint
All over the walls,
And ceilings,
And floors
Of your beloved room
Which now looks like a
Kindergartners finger painting.

You told us we could only paint
On canvas…

And before that
You informed us:
“The World Is A Canvas.”

So,
All I did was follow
Your instructions.
