"…ESCAPE"
The moon mimics my mind
Constantly rotating
Constantly moving
Constantly thinking
Letting light into my body in the darkest times
Like the moon gives light to Earth
When the sun disappears
The rock hard,
Ash-grey iron
Enslaved to earth
Destined for riding the same never ending carousal ride
REPEATING
OVER
AND
OVER
AGAIN
As time ticks and ticks
We repeat the same course
Scheduled to rotate
But one day when
Not nor a butterfly, a person, or soul shall know
We will drift
The moon will dance away from its enslaver
I will punch the cement walls that block my mind from achieving the impossible
And step on the braches that push my body back from my capabilities
We will
…ESCAPE
