This is a story I have never told anyone.

I have to get it off my chest to let it go.

I need to take back what you stole from me.

My love for life.

The pain and the blows you threw at me

Cover my body like tattoos.

You brought me to my knees.

Now you can save your apologies,

since you are nothing but a liar.

The scars of bullying you inflicted will never show,

Because I am a fighter.

I'm stronger than you ever were,

And my defense is made of steel.

You made me question myself.

Told me I wasn't good enough,

But who are you to judge?

I am just me, a beautiful person.

Inside and out.

It only takes one experience of being bullied to lower your confidence and self-esteem forever.
