Bitter sweet.
Cold and refreshing.
A fading memory
Of sparkling lemonade.
Fun memories of her
So sweet in mind
Now tainted with bitterness
Because she left me behind.
Oh, the promises
To keep in touch
Faded away:
The memories,
The two-hour long phone calls,
Just wasn't enough.
Ice melts,
Friendships change,
Moving on
From bitter sweet lemonade.
