Roses
The way I see it roses are
just like love. Roses have thorns
which hurt and can make you bleed.
Maybe thats why they are red?
Get enough cuts and you may even bleed
out and die. Maybe thats why people
are so hesitant to love. But roses
are sweet smelling and beautiful.
Even as they die they still smell great
and look magnificent. Maybe thats
why people cling onto love that
has no hope to keep getting the beauty
And joy of whatever is left even in small
amounts. Roses have so many petals. Petals
that represent the endless list anyone would do for
love. Maybe thats why they have so many to spare.
