The Mountain

The air is very thin and crisp
there is not a cloud in sight.
A beautiful blue sky that looks like an abandoned ocean
its rich color gives a very cool feeling to the picture as a whole.

Within the area, the snow is all around the frozen glaciers
it is slightly padded down with fresh marks of nearby skiers.
The white glow of the frozen water gives a delicate contrast with the sky
while the light snowfall in the background covers up the entire resort as well.

While the bright sun is shining
the snow becomes a little bit softer.
The melted snow is streaking down skiers faces as they soar over the many humps of snow in their path
the day was perfect for skiing.

The pine trees that smelled of sweetness
it gave quite a scent while gliding down the sharp skiing mountains.
They looked like green snowmen
it was as if they were lined up in a specific pattern.
The mountains were in back of them
they looked like giant skyscrapers; towering over everything.
Behind every mountain lies yet a higher one.

This is a piece that my teacher had us do about finding an image offline and just free writing a poem with lots of imagery.
