Memory
Carefully,I pick up a piece of memory
from the dim lights
Where have the glorious days gone?
Why am I left with nothing
But the ghost of the past?
Memories will fade, lights will go out,
But what I feel today
Is meant to be reborn
To build my wings and make me strong.

My Persian friend Tina inspired this poem. She wrote two lines which were ' The spring underneath the fading lights / Stands memories of a saga' and Iwas so excited that I finished the poem with my own words.
