Swine
Oh chieftain,
you swine.
Do you hear us cry?
We cry because we can’t afford
We cry because the cost of life
will cost us our lives.
Oh chieftain,
The umbrella you gave us
is riddled with holes. While
our neighbor has solid gold.
We cry because we can’t keep
warm from the rain you brought on us.
Of chieftain,
Didn’t you promise to hand
us goods, not only because we can’t afford,
but because you owe us.
We cry because of the
false hope you had given us.
Oh chieftain,
Can you not smell the dystopia
that you have caused, with that pig nose
that you have. Or is your nose miles deep
smelling the cotton and metal,
that money is made from?
