Don't Follow Him into the Dark
He took her by the hand,
He said everything would be fine,
She believed him unconditionally,
Too blind to know he was lying.
She followed him to the ends of the Earth,
Through thick and thin,
It's a damn shame, they say,
That he led her with intentions of sin.
He caught her off guard,
Cornered her with nowhere to run,
Took everything she had,
You should have seen it coming, hun.
He was nowhere to be found after that fateful incident,
And no therapy could fix what he had done,
She felt the only help she could seek,
Was at the barrel of a loaded gun.
