Machines
I am a living, breathing, working machine
I am made of limbs, organs, and flesh
but my flesh does not hold me together
my dreams do
I am held together ny something much more than anything you can hold in your hands
I am held together by thoughts; dreams; ideas
all the stuff that's so much more than you can simply grasp
I'm held together by the things you have to live
ideas that breathe when you breathe
cry when you cry
I am held together by the ideas and dreams that are intertwined with my very being
I am held together by the thoughts and dreams that are fed by my soul
and every day people try to crush my dreams; thoughts; ideas
but I cannot let them
for if I have nothing to hold me together
I am simply parts
no longer a living, breathing, working machine
