The Question
What would you like to be?
Asked the Bot,
Whirling and clicking and dull
A princess
An astronaut
A rock star
A - stop.
Far too optomistic
Be more realistic
You'll never achieve
Such childish dreams
Shut your mouth
And open your eyes
What would you like to be?
Asked the Clock,
Winding and ticking and old
I don't know
Help me out
I'm so lost
I - Stop!
School bell rings
No time to be free
What will you become
Now that my work has been done
Stop speaking
And listen to me
What do you want to be?
Asks the Crow,
Nagging and screeching and loud
Happy
Stable
Alive
And - STOP!
You're just tired
Don't know your desires
Pull together
Ease off of the trigger
Now quit complaining
And ignore your disease
