What Do You See?
Do you see what I see?
I see people outside
Doing as they please.
I look outside,
And see people getting along.
In the air,
I smell a smell as delicious
As baked apple pie.
I see luscious rainforests,
The facial hair of earth.
I look about,
And see water,
As clear as crystal.
Free from nasty toxins,
The water smiles,
And welcomes swimmers in.
Everyone is in place,
Doing as humankind is intended.
People in the force are
Doing what they’re meant too.
Everything is fair,
Justice needs not to be served.
What do you see?
Do you see the long tubes?
Shooting smoke into the sky?
Do you see pointless people?
Committing pointless crimes?
Do you see people getting arrested?
Over something they shouldn’t?
I see what you see, and I think it’s ugly
Come over here,
Where the grass is always green.
Where you see people sitting,
Around a campfire,
Which light dances with a guitar?
Singing a song,
I see a group of friends,
Exploring the woods,
Climbing a tree.
See life,
And how to enjoy it.
Keep away from the negative things,
And live life like you want.
