The Falls
I run down the rocks
25 feet above water.
My friends are behind me
as I keep running.
We jump from rock to rock
on the way to the waterfall.
We climb down the rock,
its wet from the splashing water.
People are cheeriong us on,
thinking we've only done it once.
This would now be our 50th time
and our 15th time to the falls.
As Tan climbs to the surface,
we wait for him to jump.
He jumps into the rushing waterfall.
I then climb down,
I wait for the right time to jump and I
into the waterfall, surrounded by people.
The freezing water rushes past me
as I jump into the falls.
By the time I come up,
I watch the shortest one jump after me.
She jumps into the rushing water.
Then Chyrsten, Nathaanael, and I meet back on the rocks for some food.
