Paradise
Pretty face and an perfect life …I
wish…Maybe if I tap my shoes
three…maybe if I just get better
I sit and close my eyes and imagine my
perfect paradise where I’m normal
Where there are no doctors and needles or
appointments or pills or anything that has to
do with me being sick
I close my eyes and imagine me spinning
around with my pretty dress and dancing
with my prince and being a normal girl with
normal life
But when I open my eyes I’m dancing with
a mop in the dark
Alone
They might think I’m crazy but I’m not I’m
just different they put me in An old dress
that reeks of an odor that I can’t describe
and tattered shoes to make me stand out
when I just want to be…
Normal
But they say I can’t because… I’m crazy but
for now let me just close my eyes and go
into
My perfect paradise
