LIGHTS
Eyes open but she couldn't see anything. Blinded by the darkness she closed her eyes to only find more darkness. But she could find light. She played images in her head of summer days, Christmas mornings, and birthdays. Everything began to warm up inside her, shedding light that bounced off her bones and through her veins. She pierced her vein and out spilled red coloured lights. It flowed onto the walls like sunlight and at that moment she was alive, in her self-dug grave.
