And destroy the foundation
In which humanity was built

Murdering
Dying
It seems everyone is now lying
Our freedom is free
But comes at a price
Nobody’s loyal
Nobody’s nice
We care so much
For material things
And pay little attention
To what life brings
Likes
Tweets
Shares
And more
Is not what technology
Was ultimately for
People are now killing
In the name of religion
But killing is not
In their religion’s tradition
Their excuses are lousy, pathetic almost
They claim to be haunted by their past’s ghosts
But to live in the past
Is time badly spent
Which is why
We must focus
On fixing the present
