Love means Fear to me
Love
So many types
Sometimes it hurts
Sometimes it stings
Seen so many people destroyed by it’s clutches
Love means fear to me
Afraid of their destruction
Pulling me down with them
Afraid, So very afraid
Death
Quick and painless, hoped for
Long and suffering, despised
Loved ones,
They know death is approaching
So pull family towards them
Comfort they want
Attachment they cause
Pull them down,
Break their hearts
I try to distance from the heartbreak,
Caused by love.
Love and Death
Hand in hand,
Destroyers of hearts
I pull away from each,
Afraid, so very afraid
