Little soldier
I was always a little bit,
Of everything he knew,
The good, the bad.
I was his little man,
He WAS my old man,
But something's just showed me,
How much of which one I was.
A little bit of everything,
The cowardly, the brave,
I was a little man
Not ready for boot camp
But still a little bit of a man
I stayed on the ground
Instead of flying high
I stayed put
I won't say I didn't love him
Because I was a little bit
Of him
I was a little soldier
Though I was always the runt
I was always so blunt
I was a little man
Who knew what to do
I was a bit of everything
But one thing I was a lot of
Was the help
From a little soldier.
