Men, offspring of women
always feel alive, aren’t worried with death,
believing life will never cease.
Fearlessness while young abounds,
as the world stretches in front of them, going onward and outward,
until it all collapses. Leaving them no longer loitering in carelessness,
tamed of their last desires for danger.
The wilds they once had are gone, like a runaway.
No longer do they tumble in the dirt, and grass which stuck to their bootsoles.
Their lives now missing the fun they once had.
