Once you dive in
It will immediately bare its fangs and attack
Don't resist the water
There's nothing to fear
Thrust your fingers into the surface
And carve an opening
Slide your body through that portal
Trusting yourself and it
To carry you through its world

I thought of this one day while I was swimming and made me think about a favorite show I adore
