how is the sky the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Peace is the word that comes to mind when I describe basketball, the court is a home; not a home away from home but a literal home. I wish I could spend every waken hour of my life playing. The bouncing of the ball, the squeaking of the shoes, clanking of the rim or the sound of the net when you make a shot and the feel of the ball when you do a crossover and it spins in your hand it is just bliss to me. Everything comes out of me when I’m on the floor emotions I can describe with words the love of the game is unreal to me I don’t expect anyone to think anything of this poem, it isn’t really even a poem I’m writing but a love letter that I can’t send. No one will ever understand how much I love this game it’s an escape…, from reality and all my problems I don’t worry about anything else when I’m home. There is no worrying about a party, what someone said about this person, celebrity gossip, or stupid politics the only thing going on for me is life.
