Already Brokn
“Fat, dumb, ugly.
Stupid, useless, worthless.
A waste of space…”
And the taunts go on, without an end.
She covered her ears to stop them all,
to escape her fears and make amends
to her heart, which was already broken.
No matter how hard she tried,
to stay strong and block them away
It was of no use anyway
Their words were stronger
As she felt weaker
There was nothing she could do
There was no way out
They trapped her in, and without a doubt
Her heart shattered more
It was already broken.
One day came by,
When it was all too much.
“Enough!” she yelled
“I can’t take this anymore.”
The pain had increased to an unbearable level
So she decided to end it, by ending herself
The last words she spoke that night
Tears swelling her eyes, oh that awful sight!
‘Some broken things cannot repair,
And their lives are never spared.’
All she needed was a friend
Who would help her up and heal her soul
And fix her heart, which was already broken.
