Please, please tell me
  Why leave me guessing
  As to who you are?
  Packed far
  Far away
Perhaps a question for another day
  Jokes and habits
  The only clue
But I still don't know who
  Is seated behind
In the throne of your mind
I can see what you wear
  How you style your hair
  The jokes you make
  And the photos you take
I can hear the music that you like to hear
And watch the shows that you like to watch
But you still leave me guessing as to who you are
  Packed far
  Far away
Perhaps to be found out another day
  Most people find it
  A nerve-racking task
  Simply to ask
Who are you? What is your belief?
What do you really feel underneath?
  You can call me intrusive
  But you're so elusive !
I don't mean to be abusive
  With my tireless resolve
  For you to finally divulge
  What you really think
  It's the missing link
  In the complex equation
  Obscured by your evasion
  Of my lines of inquiry
For, to me, it's such a mystery
  To look upon the mask
To find out about the face
