All the historical things you have visited and accomplished
Your stories of when you were young
You used to read a comic book behind an educational one
The teacher would yell at you
You still continued that witty act
Every anecdote you speak makes us erupt in laughter

Let’s not forget the shields and weapons we will inherit
Your cave of antiquities
Finding a new item every time I seek one
Grandma says it’s all junk but I think differently
All your artifacts have their own story
They persistently amuse me

We have all learned so much from you
I appreciate every story you tell me
I am proud to say your my grandpa at volleyball games
I am proud to say your my grandpa at my dance competitions
I am proud to say your my grandpa anywhere
