These marks
On Skin
In my brain
Either way they leave marks
Seen or unseen...
It doesn’t matter.
People can see these scars if they wish to
Physical scars are frowned upon
In it unacceptable in Society
Mental scars are harder...
They are unseen
Yet they cause the most Pain
Reliving those moments
Over and Over again
I will confess
I too have
Scars
