A mountain builds up high into the sky
More than halfway it’s like Thanksgiving Day
Full stomachs filled with turkey
Getting ready for shop ‘til you drop day
Almost to the top
As Santa came to leave his gifts
Little children’s toys all over
As laughter fills the air
Finally at the peak.
Adults getting ready to party
Children off to the grandparents
Spoiled is what they become
Falling to the bottom
The holiday season is over
Just like that
Coming to a new year
