Alone
She sits in her room,
All alone, at night, in the dark
She should be used to it, she’s always alone.
The problem is it has been growing on her,
The constant loneliness, the constant silent cry,
To be found, to be released.
There is only one problem,
No one hears her; no one cares to hear her.
So she just goes on,
Day by day, week by week, month by month
Maybe one day someone out there,
Will care to listen, to help
Until then she waits,
Alone.
