The cuts remind me of the pain you've caused
The scars on my arms tell everyone I have a story and it didn't end well
The blood in my shower shows that I've hurt and I've cried
But the beat in my heart says I have lived through it all
Your shirts that I wear say you have helped me through it and we are best together
But the hand you hold is not mine, although I have fire in my heart and passion in my words I won't wreck your ending by fulfilling mine
