Give me your sound
your profound, honest sound
I want to feel your beat
Let it run down to my feet
Give me your sound
because I'm sick of what is around

We are humans, yet we act like sheep
Love songs were meant to inspire
Now blend together and transpire
?

"I love your smile"?
Great every has one
The singers are just dropouts and deadbeats
cashing in on teenage angst,
?hormones and the stuff between the sheets?
begging to hear more of their art
Art, which I can find at a Wal-Mart
You generic, simplified money cows
No shame, but still in the game

Brainwashing has never been so easy
Their lives peaked at their graduations
But now they proceed to fill music with lacerations
Use a real knife
Because my life
has no meaning
with this demeaning
sound filling my ears
I am close to coasting by on a wave of tears
Thanks to them, the victory goes to the fears

Look at me, look at yourself
What do you see?
A person, a sheep?
A withered, dying tree?
Look at yourself,
not in the mirror
Look at yourself,
find that rhythm
You have two beats
One from your heart,
one you feel in your feet

Cast off the money, the fame and the glory
or else you'll be sorry
Sorry that you've been living life wrong
Sorry that you've added your senseless noise
to the growing mass of
meaningless
mindless
?morons?
who can't stop listening
to this crap you toys call
music
