My Father

His hands stiff cracked over used.
Working at a young age i am so amused.
Taking the risk to provide his family with a better tomorrow.
His wife forced a smile to hide her immense sorrow.
Crossing the border and risking his life.
He knew he would one day return to his kids and wife.
