Because if I Died...
because if I died right now...
the girl that sits behind me in math will never have to ask me what's on the board because she can't see. she will see the board with tears in her eyes because the seat in front of her will forever be empty with a loved soul lingering in my place.
the guy that i was secretly crushing on will notice the absence of quick glances and random smiles coming his way. he will notice the absence of smiles coming out of him and he will notice the joy my smiles gave him and, though he knew they were coming, every morning, it was a nice surprise to wake up.
my teachers will walk into a classroom with one less student to teach and one less thought process to learn from and one more empty seat that they will reluctantly give to another teacher who doesn't have enough even though the class starts crying because I'm officially no longer a part of it.
my best friend, will I have left her all alone. it's like the times at lunch when I was sick and I couldn't come to school and she would have to make do for one day and find another group of friends, who she wasn't as close to, to sit with. I've left her living in a world where she feels like she has no one because the person she would come to has now left.
the guy that always like me would be left broken hearted. even worse than unrequited love, at least then there's a possibility they could love you back. loving someone who is dead? is like loving something that never existed. he will never be able to fulfill his desire to hold me again and I can't make him live like that, with a broken heart that can never be mended.
if I died right now more people would notice than notice me now. but maybe they're like me, too shy to say they would do anything to show you they love you until it's too late.
