Stuff I'm Tired of Hearing
“I wouldn’t hit a girl”.
I bleed a week every month—
A punch won’t phase me
When a kick between the legs leaves you
Completely out of action.
“You throw like a girl”.
I will ball up my rage
And your fragile masculinity—
Send it flying down your throat.
Swallow.
“You’re not like other girls”.
There is nothing wrong
With other girls.
I shouldn’t feel the need to
To separate myself from femininity—
Should I hate being strong?

People always act like being a woman is something to be ashamed of and it's an insult to compare a guy to women. People act like women are weak and need to be protected and I'm tired of it.
