In Class
Garrett types away on his computer
trying to listening to every word that his professor is says.
Taking notes on the important information
as he looks around seeing the other students wearing all different dark colors
grey, black and navy blue is all he sees.
Garrett stops typing to stretch and relax his hands.
Wishing class would end, he begins taking notes again.
“ Last note, “ the professor says.
As he finishes typing his last note he hears people begin to talk.
Closing his laptop, putting it in his grey backpack
Garrett picks up his backpack walking past students? that are? standing in the way
?talking about how crazy their night was before.?
?Garrett puts his headphones in and walks out of the building.?

Walking to the Dorm
Headphones in, music blasting, as Garrett is walking out of class.
The sounds of rap music is all he hears but
he sees peoples mouths moving, watching people talk
wondering what they are talking about.
Thinking to himself, " Are they talking about me."
As he continues his walk through the campus,
he sees the different groups of people
from the jocks to the nerds ?and even to the different ?frats.
In view now is his building, slowly getting closer.
Garrett reaches his ID out quickly swiping it to unlock the door.

In the Dorm
As Garrett opens the door, he sees his one person room.
His posters hanging from the wall, pictures of his family on his desk,
and his hometown flag hanging right over his bed.
?Garrett was back in his home for the school year.?
Throwing his backpack on the ground,
turing his TV on, and grabbing his laptop.
?Garrett was finally able to relax.?
He was laying in bed, with the TV on,
and the sweet sound of his family over the computer speakers.
?Garrett once again was happy.?
