New Me
Okay, today is New Years Eve. The day every religious person I know goes to church 'til noon -midnight actually. Then the next day we find ourselves thinking "new year, new me." People often argue if there actually is a new;me. I feel that there is no such thing as new and old when it comes to people and things they see.Maybei it's the same person with different habits, a different mindset, or the same kind of Facebook status. What is know is things change and so do people and their habits. SO. While i'm still on the subject of people; i'd like to know why they make promises they can't keep themselves! Wouldn't it lift your spirits if you did something and it wasn't a mistake? You could look back on this one day and say, simply, "Thank the Lord I wasn't late." Because if you're late then that means you're not on time, and not on time means you're never early.Needless to say, I like saying things to make you think; so why not make a resolution that puts you on the BRINK of not actually fulfilling it? I say that sarcastically for a reason. Maybe we can have a new year and a new season; and I can be a new me for another reason.

I wrote this peace on December 31, 2014. The new year inspired me to think up a piece for the ocassion. I actually wanted to talk about how peoploe make these resoltions but nevera actually follow through. Also, it never fails that you wake up thinking the most inocuous thought of all: " New year, new me." I don't feel like this statement is true.
