I hear the voices warm against my ear
One whispers give up
The other don't give in
The voices bicker
Who, will, win?
Who will I succumb to?
The warmth of the first?
So easy, to just do
Or the work of the second?
I don't know what to do
Is it really worth it anymore?
The fight
The nightmares
The crying
The tears
How long can I fight it
How long feel the years
Full of hope
Full of fear
What if I can't make it through the year
The warm voice invites me
Yet I cannot succumb
It calls
It beacons
Come,come,come
