Missing Green
Green reminds me of a truck my family had,
my Dad brought that truck.
It was a 1999 Ford Explorer,
dark green but shiny.
Then I lost my Dad and that truck.
I like all colors of green since then
blue green, lime green, yellow green,
light green, forest green, all kinds of green.
I can't get back my Dad or that same truck.
This is why I like the color green so much.
This is why the majority of boys I like have
green eyes.
This is why I like different kinds of bugs with green eyes.
I also want to dye my hair green when I get older.
It is the color of the grass I used to lay in when I was younger.
It is the color of Granny Smith Apples,
which is my favorite.
Green is my life
