a storm of frosty ballerinas
grace the earth
they dance
and twirl
gently descending
through the cold air
their presence
is powerful
they freeze us over
they cover the ground
in white
they fly
through the icy air
in hope to land
among
their companions
for all it would take
is a bit of warmth and sunshine
to take them away
