The Boat

It was sunny and warm.
wavy and stunning
The boat was always windy.
Fast like a plane,
Bumpy like an old gravel.
Exhilaratingly fresh air.
circling above
swimming below.
Utter amazement of machinery
watching the meters
never knowing what’s underneath
only what’s up ahead
and the depth of the river
