Favorite Quote:
"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are the underlings."
Cassius
*Julius Caesar*
William Shakespeare

I cling onto the branch

Crimson spots climbing over me

Icy winds send chills

Up my frail spine

Knocking me out of my place

So that I'm falling,

Downward,

Desperately trying to grasp onto

The rough bark-

Then landing on the cold

Concrete and laying there

To Rot.

This poem was written for a class project, in which we had to write a poem from the point of view of a leaf falling from a tree.
